all grown up

My girls seem so grown up already! Catina is very fun to be around. She had a little tea party with her animals this morning. She is very helpful with Juney. June's hearing aids come loose often and Catina takes it upon herself to put them back in.

June is starting to sit up and babble! Greg and I have been anxiously waiting to hear the babble. Every step closer to her talking is very exciting for us.

Father's Day

This year for Father's Day we surprised Greg with a trip to the local Children's Garden. I think Catina loved it the most. June just laughed at whatever Catina does she in turn she loved it too! We then took a picnic to sit under a tree by the gazebo nearby. It was a great day!

Tiger Game!

Catina went to her first Tiger game! Every year for the past 10 years I have taken my Dad to a game for Father's Day. When Greg and I got together we then started taking his Dad too. Its been a fun tradition and this year we felt Catina was old enough to join us. She had so much fun! Everything was so huge and wonderful to her. We told her about the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches ahead of time and she kept asking until finally in the first inning we gave her one. I was hoping to wait until the 4th inning.

Her and I then walked around the stadium twice to look at all the fun decorations. She really wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel. I was a bit skeptical because she tends to chicken out when going on things like that. I wasn't too excited to go myself. When we got back to our seats she convinced Greg to go with her and she went! Fortunately, she was gone when the guy a few rows back was hit in the head with a baseball. It then bounced off his head and landed two seats away from me! I was so glad it wasn't her little head.

She stayed up until 11pm which is way past her bed time. The funny thing is she did the night before too! We had a bad storm so we all had to go in the basement. I grabbed June and the girls to run downstairs just as Greg was pulling in from a Going Away party. June was all happy and thought we had woke her up for a party. After the storm blew over we went upstairs to bed to find an hour later that the power went out and that we couldn't breathe from the heat. We then got the girls up again to bring them downstairs to sleep. We were without power for almost 24 hours. Catina had a hard time understanding why the lights wouldn't go on!

Catina rarely wears jeans. I think she lets me pick out her outfit once every two months. She finally wore this shirt and jeans I like!

My Mom made these cute little dresses for the girls that say "Big Sis" and "Little Sis." Catina loves wearing matching outfits with June. Right now I believe we have one for every day of the week and even have matching out fits with cousin Avary and Clara.

june's first cereal

June is giving us a very hard time taking a bottle. For months now I have been her only food source and it can be very cumbersome at times. We decided to start her on cereal and is not liking it. She pushes our hand away and turns her face.
